Today is Global Wind Day! Let us celebrate wind energy, its power, and all the possibilities it has to offer. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, wind energy is the second largest renewable energy source in 2020. From 2019 to 2020, wind energy consumption increased from 2.7 quadrillion Btu to 3 quadrillion Btu. As a result, we expect more wind turbines to be installed, onshore or offshore, especially as renewable and clean energy become more widespread.
